When we were there, all the servers were wearing pink uniforms in support of breast cancer research. Cute. The breakfast was surprisingly good and so was the coffee.

The eggs were good - free of the hard bits at the edge - although the over-hard serving was prepared by breaking the yolk and cooking them like that. In our opinion, that’s cheating. Don’t break the yolk.
SS&M has a friendly atmosphere (e.g. – large colourful paintings of vegetables on the wall) and a really decent breakfast. I’ve already been back since then!

SS&M (great acronym, by the way) has been open for nine years. This inauspicious dinerteria was hiding a great breakfast amongst the banality of Graham Avenue! I’ve caught the bus across the street from SS&M so many times without ever going in. I’m not sure why, but like I said, the banality.
Sorry, guys. I say dinerteria because it definitely had a cafeteria feel what with the economic sitting area, the self-serve cutlery/coffee, the large pop coolers… but with an open kitchen concept like a diner.
